Through our partnerships with contractors, we identify upcoming projects and inform our business partners of bid opportunities for those projects. We identify these opportunities as much as two years in advance and provide the information filtered by the months when projects will come up for bid and complete with contact information for the projects and plant owners.
I’d like to share some information about projects on the horizon.
In Dayton, Tennessee, Nokian Tyres is planning a 400,000-square-foot expansion, to include processing equipment and robots, at its SUV and light-tire manufacturing facility. Requests for quotes will be released in January 2023, and job completion is expected May 31, 2024.
In Huntsville, Alabama, the Toyota engine plant is gearing up for a 1.3 million-square-foot expansion to build both combustion and hybrid-electric four-cylinder engines. Equipment requests for quotes are scheduled to go out in December 2022, and project completion is slated for October 2023.
In Baldwin County, Alabama, Novelis Incorporated has announced plans to build an aluminum recycling and rolling mill plant at the Bay Minette mega-site industrial park. Equipment requests for quotes will go out in November 2022, and kickoff is set for December 2022. Project duration is expected to be 31 months, ending in June 2025.
Site prep is underway at the Ford BlueOval City project in Haywood County, Tennessee, and there will be many opportunities for our partners to bid on equipment-installation work, which is expected to begin in late 2023 or early 2024.
