The contractors of the Eastern Region – the Carolinas, Georgia, and Florida – have hit the new year running. We are looking at several projects worth more than $1 billion this coming year. Many of our partnering contractors will be working on these projects. I have been reaching out to many of you to communicate opportunities, and I will continue to do so throughout the year. I want to thank those who were able to attend this year’s Millwright Conference at the United Brotherhood of Carpenters’ International Training Center in Las Vegas. This was a great event with insightful industry presentations.
The ITC will be hosting another collaborative leadership class May 22-24. Please contact me for more information if you are interested in sending someone from your company to this event. It is open to anyone who is a foreman or above. The registration deadline is the first week of April.
The whole Eastern Region team is working collectively on attending recruitment events and industry conferences and assisting our industry partners with the success of their projects.
