Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt signed a bill into law May 20 that reduces the time Oklahomans can receive unemployment benefits from 26 weeks to 16 weeks beginning in January of next year. Starting in January of 2025, the number of benefit weeks will range from 16 to 20, depending on the number of people seeking benefits. Read the new law here.
