- RCC – Plant Vogtle work in Waynesboro, Georgia, is beginning to downsize

- IPC Lydon – Hartsfield Airport Maintenance. Openings available
- Action – ongoing work in shop
- Creek Construction- eight members, one-week line install at Miller Brewery
- Genesys- started Jan. 26. Ongoing oven and forming replacement
- McAbee – ongoing shop work
- The Mechanical Shop- five members, one week outage
- Griffin Industrial- ongoing Eden, N.C. at Nestle Purina
- Ram Industries- ongoing Fort Lawn, S.C. at Gallo Wine
Upcoming Work:
- ICON- structural install starting Feb. 14.
- Western Industrial at USPS Northwest Atlanta Demo Job in sorting facility. Duration approximately 6-12 months. Projected start date Feb. 25 millwrights on 6-10’s.
- APM at TA Smith- two units starting April, approximately 75 Millwrights needed.
- APM Plant Vogtle- nuke workers needed
Local 1000:
- Power-generation jobs with SGS, APM, and TOPS Field Services. APM and SGS have several jobs coming soon- Dania Beach, Cane Island, Vandolo, Manatee
- Western Industrial is working on a FedEx project at Miami Airport.
- We’re also working at Fort Lauderdale airports with Jordim.
- We are working in the phosphate industry with Central Maintenance, Gulf Coast Industrial, and JKF. There is an ongoing need for millwrights with phosphate mine cards.
- A&B maintenance work at Gopher Recycling is ongoing.
- The new can plant (Florida Can) has been completed and it was a success.
- We are working in a shingle facility (GAF) for Central Maintenance and Welding.
- We have been doing maintenance and some new installs of equipment in several operational Amazon facilities in Central and South Florida.
- We are doing a tissue plant (Sofidel America) in Haines City Florida with CR Meyer.
Local 2411:
- WW Gay will be needing 50 guys on starting Feb 28th – Mar 5th
- Coker is currently working on a project in Fernandina. They are continuing one-day outages locally.
- Milton J. Wood has work coming up at GP Palatka.
- WW Gay is currently working around town with its regulars. Gay is also working to secure more projects locally but look to be slow until after the first of the year.
- J Williams is continuing their efforts in procuring more local outages. They have picked up the outage every Monday at USG.
- GenIndustrial is working at a couple local plants and is actively pursuing more local projects.
- Cogburn has secured some mission mine supplemental help as well as pursuing other projects.
- APM is currently working at the Seminole plant in Palatka on the generators.
- Vigneaux is looking for one Millwright to add to payroll permanently, travel will be often and mandatory. If interested please contact Robbie Jeffers.
