SSMRC staff operated a recruiting booth at a National Hot Rod Association event in Concord, N.C., in May. Business agents handed out hundreds of flyers and brochures and talked with race attendees about the details and benefits of a millwright career. The booth was set up next to Millwright Local 1263 member April Crownhart-Swan’s jet-funny car, which participated in the event.
