The SSMRC Nuclear Office is gearing up for one of the busiest seasons in recent past, while also welcoming a familiar face as the new nuclear representative.
Steve Williams, former Local 1554 business agent is stepping up to the plate to coordinate the nuclear working opportunities between our members and partnering contractors throughout the SSMRC.
Since taking the reins on January 1, Williams hit the ground running fostering relationships with contractors and members alike.
“I am very excited to be the SSMRC’s new nuclear representative,” Williams said. “While I was on my tools, I worked several nuclear jobs, so this feels like home for me since I get to reconnect with individuals I used to work for and with. Nuclear representative, David Bonds, has really taught me a lot since stepping into this role.”
Bonds is set to retire on April 1
